Their debut album, Deathconsciousness, has received critical acclaim since its release in 2008. I did do a bit of research, since there is another Cyndi Lauper Christmas CD floating around out there, 'Feels Like Christmas.' 'Have a Nice Life' was originally released in 1998, then 'Feels Like Christmas' came a few years later and included 6 duplicate tracks, plus 2 non-Christmas, previously unavailable, B-Side tracks. They have mentioned the likes of My Bloody Valentine, Joy Division, New Order, Earth, Sunn O))), Xasthur, Lurker of Chalice, Nine Inch Nails, Swans, Sisters of Mercy, Kraftwerk, and the philosophy of Friedrich Nietzsche as influences on their music.
Have a Nice Life was formed in 2000 by Dan Barrett and Tim Macuga of Connecticut.
